Action Scaffolding
EXPERIENCE - Action Scaffold is a family owned business, started in 1953. Establishing ourselves in the rental and erection business in the Southwest, Action brings experience as a user of the scaffold products into the manufacturing business. We know all of the concerns that being a Scaffold Dealer or Contractor must deal with: your customer's demands, quality of products, competitiveness and relationships. Since 1953 we have built solid long-lasting relationships and that continues to every new account with Action. As one of the founding members of Scaffold Industry Association (SIA ), Action continues to be a leader in the scaffold industry. Jerry Schapira, our current CEO, served as the associations President in 1977. Howard Schapira, Action's President, served as President of Scaffold Industry Association from 2004 to 2006. Built on a tradition of honesty, integrity and quality, Action has established itself with the values and experience that will lead us into the future. QUALITY - The most important part of our manufacturing process is Action's quality control procedures, which are followed through all production stages to ensure a safe and dependable product. Stage 2 Rust Resistance After the flat steel is roll-formed into tubing, the outside diameter (O.D. ), for our scaffold end frames receive a triple layer of rust resistance protection, before paint is applied. The first layer is a zinc galvanized coating. Followed by conversion coating that passivates the zinc to slow down the rust growth process. Finally, a clear polymer topcoat is applies to "seal in" the protection and also act as a primer before painting. The end result is a smooth, shiny end product, whose appearance is unmatched in terms of strength and durability. The inside diameter (I.D. ), of our scaffold tube is coated with a zinc galvanized finish which will prevent rust growth. In humid or wet climates, this is very important as no exterior painting will offer protection to the inside diameter. Stage 3 Production Phase The tubing is machined into parts ready for assembly. They are placed in a precision jig fixture to maintain a rigid accurate product during welding, which is performed by certified welders. Before painting, a team of inspectors views each piece to ensure it's quality. It then continues to the painting unit, where a coat of rust-inhibitive enamel is applied, providing a durable finish, using an Action specified formula. Alternatively, Action offers a power coat paint finish. A powdered pigment is sprayed onto the steel, and sealed by baking the product in heat generated ovens. Customers may choose from a wide variety of colors. The end result is a high strength, durable and rust resistant scaffold product. A final inspection before shipment, assures our customers that they will receive the best quality product made in the USA.
