History
Since 1974 Plumb Performing Arts Center has been dedicated to providing students with a wide variety of programs in dance and the performing arts. Under the direction of owner/dance Lisa Plumb, Plumb Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is considered to be one of the finest teaching facilities in the United States. This multi-faceted center for the arts offers programs for the serious dancer or performer, or for those who just want to take classes for recreational purposes. The dance and performing arts classes at PPAC can give each student the opportunity to participate in, and experience, a course of study that will benefit them physically, challenge them mentally, provide self confidence, teach self-discipline, build character, and allow personal expression in a healthy manner. Students that experience the sheer joy of self-achievement develop a sense of self confidence and esteem for themselves that will spur them ever onward in all of their life endeavors.
