God has grown this church from a humble beginning of 13 people in 1962, to nearly 7,000 meeting weekly in five worship venues on three different campuses in Scottsdale and Phoenix. We have a heart for serving our community and taking the message of Jesus into neighborhoods throughout the Valley. Pastor Jamie Rasmussen leads with a vision to create a community of Christ followers marked by unwavering faith and unconditional love. SBC's key values include transformational Bible teaching, engaging worship, authentic community, and service-based outreach, all expressed through the context of grace.
