History
The school was originally called Garfield School and was for grades one through four. At the time of construction, the town of Bisbee was very wealthy and already had fourteen other schools. The town was growing rapidly due to the copper mining industry but after 1918 the population started to decline. In 1938 , the school was converted into apartments called Garfield Apartments. In the 80's it became a rest home for a short time and then in 1989, was converted into a bed and breakfast.
