The Lawyer Referral Service of the Pima County Bar Association is a good starting point that can connect you to an experienced attorney, who can help with your particular legal concern. There are many reasons one may need a lawyer, such as -- Being served with papers (e.g., warrant, subpoena, summons or garnishment) -- Being threatened with legal action by a person or company -- Having legal concerns related to marital or family problems -- Buying or selling a home or property -- Having credit problems or wanting to file for bankruptcy -- Writing a will -- Signing a contract or lease -- Having a dispute regarding wages, working conditions or discrimination For nearly 60 years, the Lawyer Referral Service has been connecting people to local, Tucson attorneys, who are knowledgeable about many areas of law and who meet our program qualifications to participate. We provide a 30-minute consultation with an attorney, who can offer information and legal advice, an opinion as to whether a lawyer can be of help with your concern, and a fee estimate for further services or representation (if needed) 96% of our surveyed clients tell us that they would use our service again in the future (and many do).
