The Hualapai Valley Fire District, now known as the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District #1, is one of the leading fire departments in Arizona that provides a range of fire prevention services. It operates through fire rescue and ambulance operations divisions. The district covers more than 60 square miles of area with over 5 fire stations. The Hualapai Valley Fire District also maintains various contract fire stations. The district has a variety of fire apparatus, including engine 103, engine 308 and engine 908. The district is a member of the Mohave County Mutual Aid Plan. It manages a staff of firefighters and support personnel.
