HistoryDr. Swanick began her medical career in 2009 as a primary care physician in private practice. She worked primarily with weight loss and hormones, but developed a strong interest in aesthetic medicine. She eventually left her private practice for the opportunity to work with a team of experienced physicians who focused on injectables such as Botox, Juvederm, and Restylane. She was highly successful, serving as medical director of two of the valley's largest med spas. In 2014 she returned to private practice in Tempe, AZ, integrating her vast experiences with aesthetic medicine as a core part of her practice. Dr. Swanick feels that it is more than her medical experience that draws people to her practice. In addition to her medical training and experience, Dr. Swanick has over 17 years experience in art and sculpture, which she feels gives her an artistic edge, allowing her to achieve natural lookings results.SpecialtiesDr. Swanick has almost 10 years in the medical aesthetic industry. Her primary focus is using injectibles such as botox and filler, in addition to the latest in medical aesthetic treatments, such as micro-needling, PRP, and Radio Frequency. She uses her knowledge of art and medical aesthetics to soften the signs of aging and acheive natural looking results. Dr. Swanick has worked for some of the largest medical spas in the Phoenix Area, and teaches medical aesthetics throughout the Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe area.
