Hohokam is an irrigation and drainage district formed in 1972 by several agricultural landowners in Pinal County in Arizona. The district is a political subdivision of the state of Arizona. It provides water to more than 28,000 acres of agricultural lands. Hohokam also offers retail electrical services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in the Casa Grande, Coolidge and Florence areas. It works in a contract with the Electrical District Number Two to offer construction, engineering, billing, repair and maintenance services for several electrical facilities. Hohokam also wheels municipal and industrial water through distribution systems from the Central Arizona Project.
