The Greater Flagstaff Forests Partnership (GFFP) is a community-based organization that has been at the forefront of researching and demonstrating effective approaches to forest ecosystem restoration in the ponderosa pine forests surrounding Flagstaff, Arizona since 1996.
With a vision to enhance the sustainability and resiliency of the forests in the greater Flagstaff area, GFFP focuses on multi-agency planning, coordinated implementation of restoration projects, monitoring and adaptive management, utilization of woody biomass, and outreach and education to promote collaborative efforts and ensure the long-term health of the forests and communities.
