Gompers Center is involved in serving adults and children with disabilities in the Arizona community. A non-profit organization, Gompers Center has provided professionally organized and implemented programs of special education, day training for adults, aquatic and rehabilitative therapy, a brand new dental clinic, vocational training, employment placement and community education to thousands of adults and children with disabilities for nearly 60 years. The majority of individuals who attend Gompers Center were born with multiple disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, mental retardation and Down syndrome. Services offered include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, music therapy and recreational therapy. The organization is located in Phoenix.
