History
Chef Owner Cecilia Arosemena started Dish for Dosha after obtaining a life threatening diagnosis, and choosing to heal herself naturally. Cecilia graduated from the Tucson Art Institute as a Culinarian in 2012, and traveled through China with Master Chef Bill Sy, where she learned more about the relationship between Eastern cooking and healing through food. During her formal training in 2012 at the culinary school, she also immersed herself in the teachings of natural healing and Ayurveda at the Chopra center for Well-Being in Carlsbad, CA. By the time 2013 and a diagnosis hit, she was prepared with the tools to try and heal herself naturally. Not only did Cecilia survive her liver tumor afterall, with good nutrition and a surgery, but she also managed to open an Ayurvedic juicing company, where she intended to help others heal with wholesome foods, as she had done for her body. Today, Dish for Dosha products are available at the YWCA Cafe, Renee's Organic Oven, Farmers Markets
