Founded by Les & Betty Horvath at Estrella Sailport in Maricopa AZ, Arizona Soaring Inc. quickly became one of the most famous and successful glider schools in the world. The Stephens family purchased the school in 1987 and has continued the tradition of providing safe and professional service to those wanting to experience all that soaring has to offer. Arizona Soaring has been featured in recent years on multiple TV shows like Good Morning America, Arizona Highways TV, and Phoenix area news programs.
