History
I started Arizona Dog Sitting when I was not working, and thought it would be a great side job. Pet sitting is something I've been doing for years for friends and family - why not branch out and do it for others? It quickly turned into a full time business, and I couldn't be happier. I get to spend all of my time with animals. Mostly dogs, but I do have experience with cats, reptiles, snakes, and some farm animals. I love to care for healthy dogs. I just taught a very large puppy Norwegian Elk Hound how to swim, so his Mom would be more comfortable letting him out around the pool. I also enjoy caring for dogs who are disabled or have other problems, because the people who love these dogs are often to afraid to leave their pet in the care of a neighbor, who may not understand everything their pet requires. It's wonderful to spend my day with pets. I get to play for a living, and I get to give peace of mind to the pets parents while they're away!
Specialties
We are Pet Tech First Aid and CPR Trained, so if anything happens to your pet, we'll triage it then call you immediately. We have a lot of experience with animals who are ill, older, or have suffered from abuse. If you have a pet that needs medications, treatments, or just a gentle hand, that's something we can help you with. If you have a pet that has suffered abuse and acts out, we also have a lot of experience with that. Every pet we've owned has been a rescue, so we understand that rescue animals need patience and time to develop trust. We're willing to work with you and your pet to develop that relationship, so you can trust that your pet will be comfortable with us, and we'll be safe with your pet. If we are watching your dogs over the weekend, if you like we'll give them baths, for an additional fee. One less thing for you to worry about. You'll come home to happy, healthy, clean pets who enjoyed their stay-cation, but are thrilled to see you home again!
