Home of the first Federal judge in Northern Alaska, later Delegate to the US Congress. Built of sawn lumber between 1904 & 1906, when all other dwellings were log cabins or canvas wall tents. Furnished with period items donated by local residents. Docents provide context, explaining the judge's legacy and his impact on the early history of Alaska. Guided school tours available on request.
