HistoryI have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and used to practice as a therapist. However, after discovering life coaching, I found I preferred its more active, results-oriented approach. Let's face it--people don't hire a coach because they want coaching; they hire one because they want authentic change and are ready to invest in themselves. Top-level athletes have incredible abilities, yet all of them have coaches. Why? Because in order to be the best they can be, they need someone to observe their behavior, help them identify areas of weakness and design strategies in order to improve in those areas. They need someone who provides an atmosphere of encouragement and accountability--not to call them OUT on their mistakes, but to call them UP to their potential. As your life coach, that's what I do!
