Seafood Producers Cooperative began in the 1940s and has grown into one of the largest and the most successful fishermen's cooperative in North America. SPC has built a worldwide reputation as the quality leader in the North Pacific seafood industry. Its member-owners produce, process and market troll salmon as well as a long line of other fish. SPC fishermen can be found harvesting seafood from the coast of California north throughout the Gulf of Alaska. SPC is headquartered in Sitka, Alaska, and employs 150 people.
