The Division of Agriculture is a part of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, which manages state-owned land, water and natural resources. The division works with local producers to promote and support Alaska's agricultural industry through providing finance to farmers and processors.. It handles cases related to the selling and leasing of agricultural land. Through Agricultural Revolving Loan Fund, the Division of Agriculture provides loans to purchase equipment and livestock. The division offers field inspection services for seed certification and disease control, as well as issues phytosanitary certificates on export products. It also provides information and training on packaging and quality control. The division offers feed and fertilizer regulation and marketing assistance services.
