Since 1979, Bering Air has provided quality passenger and cargo service to the people of western Alaska. It has scheduled flights to more than 30 villages in western Alaska and charter flights throughout Alaska, Canada and the Russian Far East. The company is headquartered in Nome with Hubs in Kotzebue and Unalakleet in Alaska. Bering Air has a fleet of more than 20 aircrafts that include the Raytheon Beech 1900D, turbo-prop King Air, Turbine Engine Caravan, Navajo, All-Cargo CASA Bulk Loading Volume and the Cessna 207. Bering Also offers the R-44 Robinson light utility helicopter that can carry three passengers and the pilot and is used for local sight-seeing, drop-offs for hikers, campers, berry pickers and others who require transportation to areas with little or no runways.
