We have been promoting the unique watercolor artwork of Richard E. Templeton since 1983. After the artist passed away in 1993, we set up a gallery to share his art that reflect the culture and lives of people from the Gulf of Mexico with the rest of the world. At Templeton Gallery, we believe that Templeton’s art is inspiring and evokes feelings of joy and contentment in those who see his work.Templeton’s colorful watercolor paintings represent the lifestyle and customs of people that live on the coast, as well as the artist’s own love of life and passion for his art. The prints featured on this website feature many themes that Templeton incorporated into his work throughout his career, including humor, leisure, sailboats, crab women, flowers, beach life, fishing, golf, and Mardi Gras.
