More than 30 beds are designated for cardiac care, intensive care and cardiovascular care on the fourth floor of Southeast Alabama Medical Center s surgery tower. The hospital provides health care programs and medical treatment to the residents and visitors of Dothan, Ala., and the southeastern region of the state as well as southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle. Services provided by Southeast Alabama Medical Center include emergency care, cancer care, maternity care, radiology, cardiac rehabilitation and surgery. Along with the surgery tower, encompassed within the hospital are a cancer care center, women s center and diabetes treatment center. Primary and specialty practices located within the facilities include the areas of dermatology, neurology, addiction medicine and psychiatry. Southeast Alabama Medical Center was established in 1957.
