First United Methodist Church of Clanton offers four worship services each Sunday, including traditional and contemporary services, also called Hydrate, at Clanton FUMC. It also has a growing Hispanic service. The church conducts Sunday school adult, music, Wednesday night classes, United Methodist men and women, M&M's (Merry Makers), sports/recreation, etc. for the adult ministry. It also runs a youth ministry, and arranges for activities, such as annual Easter egg hunt, father/daughter tea at valentine's, father/son fishing trip, bowling, end-of-school pizza party, movie night and laser tag trip and more for children's ministry. In addition, the church holds nursery, preschool, choir, elementary, etc.
