Based in Sheffield, Ala., The Sheffield Recreation Center is a multipurpose facility with emphasis on activities for all ages. The center includes a gymnasium, racquetball court, weight room, sauna, arts/crafts room, game rooms, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, and indoor swimming pool. The department s High School Basketball Team plays their home games in a 2,000 seat gymnasium. It also offers centers/parks athletics, aquatics and special events. The center s football leagues, include spring soccer and church league softball.
