The company offers more than 2,000 products, including framed pictures, mirrors, hand painted oils, canvas transfers, decorative wall plaques and other framed objects to an international customer base. These products are marketed through more than 12 showroom-based sales agencies as well as several independent representatives. The company began in 1970 as Carousel Decors, which specialized mainly in accessories for home decorating. In 1975, Carousel purchased a local competitor named Paragon Decors and formed a picture framing division in 1981called Paragon Picture Gallery. The home d cor division was phased out in 1989, leaving Paragon Picture Gallery as the company s sole remaining endeavor. Paragon Picture Gallery employs nearly 140 people, operating out of an 86,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
