Established in 1967, Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama is a public, nonprofit corporation providing treatment, education and assistance to people affected by mental health problems in Lawrence, Limestone and Morgan counties in Alabama. The center provides services for persons affected by mental illnesses, emotional disorders, and drug and alcohol abuse. The center offers various programs, such as children's, general outpatient, senior adult, substance abuse, and emotional disturbance related programs. It operates various centers, including Decatur Counseling Center, Moulton-Lawrence Counseling Center, Athens -Limestone Counseling Center, Albany Clinic and Quest Recovery Center. The center provides counseling and therapy for adults, children and families. It also provides in-home treatment services, case management, geriatric programs, employee assistance and psychiatric services. It also has a professional development center providing continual training and professional development for staff members and the community. Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama is located in Decatur, Ala.
