The Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts is a historic theatre located in Montgomery, AL. It opened in 1930 as The Paramount Theatre and was a popular destination for movies, vaudeville shows, and special events such as weddings. After closing its doors in 1976, the theatre was purchased by Troy University and reopened in 1983 as The Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts, named for the late Tine.
