Chef Kyle Panthep has been cooking since 9 years old. He cooked for family member who work hard from agriculture. The challenging is everyday after school he tried to find new ingredients , Since then cooking has always been his passion. When he was in high school, Chef Kyle and his sister opened their a la carte street food restaurant and he was in charge in the kitchen. He decided to be more serious in food and beverage industry by studies in Food Science and Technology major from university. After graduation, he worked at Ajinomoto Corporation and Nestle Thai Corporation. In the meantime, Chef Kyle continued his culinary study programme in Professional Thai Chef Course at Oriental Hotel and Asian cookery certificate from Australian Institute. He earns the first prize at Thai-Fusion Food competition in Thailand, he had experiences in several five stars hotels in Thailand such as Hyatt, Sheraton, Renaissance and Chiva-Som International Health Resort. He continued exploring his culinary expertise in Japan for 9 years as a head chef. In 2011, Chef Kyle migrated to Canada. He started his career by being menu and recipes consultant for several Thai restaurants in Toronto. EAT BBK, Thai restaurant that Chef Kyle proudly presents Bangkokians style eating habit and authentic Thai Street food to Torontonians. He also would like to introduce his signature Thai-Toronto twisted dishes. He puts his passion with 33 years in Thai cooking experience into all dishes.
