PACE Canada, also known as the Project for Advancement of Childhood Education Canada, is a non-government funded organization dedicated to promoting early childhood education for socio-economically disadvantaged children in Jamaica and Canada. Established in 1987 by Dr. Mavis Burke in response to a call from then Prime Minister of Jamaica Edward Seaga, PACE Canada offers various programs that enhance the overall development of young children aged 3 to 6 years.
Through initiatives such as scholarships for education studies in Jamaica and bursaries for early childhood education students in Canada, PACE Canada aims to support the education and well-being of children. The organization is led by a dedicated board of directors and continues to rely on the generosity of individuals to sustain its vital programs.
