Founded in 1997, the Association of Nova Scotia University Teachers (ANSUT) represents over 1400 full-time faculty, librarians, and contract academic staff in Nova Scotia. ANSUT advocates for the quality, accessibility, and academic integrity of post-secondary education in the region.
Operating in the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq First Nation, ANSUT's vision is to provide its member associations with a strong voice on post-secondary education issues in Nova Scotia. Through active member participation, ANSUT aims to advance its mission and support academic staff at universities across the province.
