First started as a corn stand on the side of the road, the big Yellow Barn quickly became a must-stop for summer vacationers on the way to Cultus Lake, locals craving a fresh cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun, and tourists wanting to take pictures of the iconic red telephone booth or to ride the “Twin Ponies” for 25 cents! Since MCC Community Enterprises took over in 2017, we’ve continued the tradition of selling fresh BC produce from local farmers, turning leftover fruit and vegetables into our own jams, jellies and preserves, and baking up mouth-watering treats. We’ve also expanded the selection of BC-made organic food products and added some fair trade products, produced by artisans all over the world. Yellow Barn Country Market is a social enterprise, with a portion of the profits going toward local and global relief and development.
