Fukasaku is dedicated to offering authentic BC products with a strong focus on sustainability, locality, and healthy eating. All of our seafood is caught right here in the Pacific Ocean by small-scale fishermen, ensuring the freshest, highest quality ingredients. We complement this with locally sourced BC products, including fresh produce from neighboring communities, and foraged mushrooms and seaweed from Haida Gwaii. If you’re looking to experience the true flavors of local seafood through nigiri, sashimi, or our popular "Omakase Tasting Menu", where Chef Dai crafts a multi-course meal featuring only local, sustainable seafood, we’re the perfect spot! However, if you prefer sushi rolls covered in BBQ sauce, mayo, fish eggs, and tempura bits, we may not be the right fit. Our dining area is small and cozy, so we highly recommend making a reservation well in advance.
