HistoryPeace Arch Montessori Preschool was founded by Fawn Ventura, a lifelong educator who fell in love with Montessori Education after seeing the profound positive affects that it had in her own child. Fawn has over a decade of experience working with preschool children in both traditional and Montessori environments, and is a certified Montessori teacher through the Montessori Accreditation Council via the Age of Montessori (Dr. Caspari's school). She founded Peace Arch Montessori to provide access to Montessori education to children in the North Whatcom County area, and to help provide additional options for preschool education to parents in the area.SpecialtiesPeace Arch Montessori Preschool provides fully certified and accredited Montessori preschool education for children in the Blaine, Birch-Bay, Lynden, and North Whatcom County areas. Our learning programs follow Maria Montessori's model for preschool-aged children, taking into account the nature of the young, absorbent mind and provide intellectual stimulation in the key areas for each of the sensitive periods that preschool child go through during normal childhood development.
